Back to 2003, the Yulan festival celebrations at Pasar Borong Selangor were simple, informal gatherings among traders seeking blessings and peace. Recognising a deep-seated desire to honour these traditions on a grander scale, a group of dedicated community leaders officially established the Persatuan Perayaan Yee Lan in 2012. Today, our non-profit, volunteer-driven association stands as a pillar of the community, organising one of Selangor’s most significant cultural events, fueled by the spirit of devotion and the unity of the people at our wholesale market.
